Shashank Khitan directed the film and was produced by Hiroo Yaash Johar and Karan Johar. Govinda Naam Mera will be a Hindi film under Viacom18 Studios.
Although the film was originally named Mr. Lele, it was quickly renamed Govinda Naam Mera. The film was completed by the cast and crew in September 2021.
Govinda Naam Mera Release Date
The film was originally scheduled to be released by the filmmakers at the end of the year. However, due to Vicky and Bhumi contracting Covid-19 viruses, it is now set for release on June 10, 2022.
Govinda Naam Mera Release Plot
It seems that the film is similar to Pati, Patni and Aur Woh, in which Bhumi Pednekar plays the wife and Kiara Avani is the girlfriend. We see Vicky trying to juggle between them and how he ends in a quandary.
Karan Johar tweeted that the film was full of confusion and chaos. He introduced Vicky Kaushal, Govinda Waghmare, and described her character as having a heart of gold. Karan suggested that the character might be a dancer by describing his daring dance moves.
Govinda Naam Mera Release Posters
The makers of the film recently shared the first look poster for the movie. They shared three posters with Vicky Kaushal’s character, Bhumi Pedenekar and Kiara Advani on them.
Vicky’s poster is fun. He appears to be dancing and has Govinda Waghmare on the top. Vicky is seen wearing denim jeans, orange shirt, and dancing.
Bhumi Pednekar’s second poster describes her as Govinda’s “hotty wife”, indicating that she is ready to take on the role of his wife. The green saree she is wearing looks amazing.
Kiara Advani wrote the last one about Govinda’s “naughty girl”, where Kiara also said in an interview that she would be playing the role to spice things up in the movie. She looks stunning in her yellow saree on the poster.
The movie is a family drama that will allow you to see Vicky Kaushal as a completely different character. Govinda Naam Mera will be a delight with its family-friendly songs and masti.
