Jersey Movie is an upcoming 2022 Bollywood sports movie which is directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri. The movie is produced by Allu Aravind, Aman Gill and Dil Raju under the banner of Geetha Arts and Sri Venkateswara Creations. The film stars Shahid Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur in the lead roles.
The movie is an official remake of 2019 Telugu movie with the same title, also directed by Tinnanuri. In this movie, Shahid Kapoor will be seen playing a struggling cricketer. The movie was set to be release on 28 August 2020. But, the release has been postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic. Now Jersey movie will be release on 14 April, 2022

Jersey Movie Story
In this movie, Shahid Kapoor will be seen playing a struggling cricketer. And, his real-life father Pankaj Kapur will play the role of his mentor in the movie.
The movie is based on the story of a Ranji Trophy cricket player. Who dreams of joining the Indian cricket team but during that time he has to face a lot of difficulties.
